University of Southern Queensland graduation 2023

If you are a student about to complete your academic program, you will need to be aware of these important details and deadlines:
Please check your Degree Name is correct via UConnect > Student Centre > Personal Details tile as this will be used on all of your official graduation documents. Here’s how to change your Primary, Preferred and Degree Name. Name changes impacting official graduation documents may incur a fee to be reissued. Ensure your mailing address, alternate email and mobile phone number are always up to date.

After Results Release in your final semester, if you are approved to complete your academic program, you’ll be completion processed and receive a ‘Congratulations Graduand!’ email to your UMail address. This email will confirm you are officially a ‘graduand’.

If you have a delayed placement, need to resubmit assessment, sit a supplementary examination, need to provide cross-institutional study grades, are awaiting LANTITE results, have unpaid fees etc you may not be completion processed until some days or weeks after Results Release. Please email usq.support@usq.edu.au.

After your Congratulations Graduand! email arrives, you’ll also receive two emails to your UMail with links to your free digital Official Academic Transcript and free digital Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS). You may need to allow 48 hours for these to be available. Check out the My eQuals step-by-step guide.

Official graduation documents are issued at different times for each semester, so please check when yours will be issued. NOTE: all print testamurs are currently mailed or couriered directly to graduates (even those attending a graduation ceremony) to be COVID Safe and ensure minimum contact.

Your online Graduate Response will become available via UConnect > Student Centre > Graduations after Semester 2 2022 Results Release (Wednesday 19 December 2022). You’ll need to go through the Graduate Response#1 process to register and make payment of the AUD150 Ceremony Fee. If you are not attending a ceremony, go through the Graduate Response#1 (Primary Ceremony) select ‘Mail my testamur’.

Your free digital testamur will become available in the secure My eQuals portal once it is conferred.
