Secretarial Examinations

The Institute sets national standards and conducts secretarial grading examinations. The conduct of this examination is backed by a Legislative Instrument numbered 981 of 1974. These examinations are held twice every year.

GRADE ELIGIBILITY CONTENT MONTHS OF EXAMS
Typist Basic Education Certificate (BECE); or Two (2) years Senior Secondary School Education; or a minimum of two (2) years Business/Secretarial training. Typewriting (40WPM), English Language, Office Procedures May, November
