Student Learning Outcome
Upon successful completion of the courses graduates will be able to understand the fundamental of Information and network Security, threats and risks, protecting systems, security policies and standards, network vulnerabilities and attacks, network defences, wireless network security, access control fundamentals, authentication, principles of cryptography and network security, software development security, introduction to ethical hacking and penetration testing and lastly students will be familiarized with an introduction to digital forensics.
Forensics Analysts, Penetration Testers, Auditors, Law Enforcement Personnel, Defence and Military personnels, Legal Professionals, Bankers, Security Professionals, Managers, Operational Personnel who have security as their primary job function, IT Engineers and Supervisors, Administrators, and anyone who is concerned about the integrity of the network infrastructures.
Attending this course individual must have a basic knowledge in Computer and Networking. For those that are brand new to the field with no background knowledge, course like PC Maintenance with Electronics and Networking would be the recommended starting point.
