What is the culture of the school?

According to Fullan (2007) school culture can be defined as the guiding beliefs and values evident in the way a school operates. ‘School culture’ can be used to encompass all the attitudes, expected behaviors and values that impact how the school operates.

Fundamental beliefs and assumptions, or the things that people at your school consider to be true. For example: “All students have the potential to succeed,” or “Teaching is a team sport.”2
A positive school climate and climate is one where individuals feel valued, cared for and respected. Such an atmosphere contributes to effective teaching and learning and to genuine communication, both within and outside the school.
