Duties and Responsibilities
Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Promote business growth i.e. loan portfolio and deposit.
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively.
Promote the bank brand and image through solving customers needs and demands on time.
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
Developing goals for the business development team ensuring they are met.
Required Education & Experience
Holder of Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce or equivalent from a recognized Institution with 10 years relevant working experience 3 of which must be at Senior Managerial level.
